I am working on a video project in our office – transforming government workspace with little or no money. Part of it will be adding artwork in an office in the Dept. of Labor. So, I volunteered to go around DC and photograph – then print 8-10 of them poster size at least 24×36 and hang them in their office. So, I got to go camera shopping again and add an additional lens to my collection…SWEEEETTTTTTTT!!! Early birthday present! It’s my first “professional” grade lens – the canon 24-70mm f2.8L – I tested out the new lens last night and this morning on my way into work. It’s definitely going to be my default lens for awhile!!

That is totally amazing clarity. My camera sucks unless there is perfect light…guess that’s what I get for just picking one out that was on sale
is that a picture of your office building?
That’s the office building I walk by everyday…WISHING it was MINE!! Ours was built a VERY long time ago – and the last major renovation to it was back in the 50’s-60’s – my office hallway is the ONLY one in the entire building that has central air!! hahahhaa!!
